Thanks-
I found an interesting fact...

"On any given weekend, there are more Mazdas on the road-race tracks of America than any other brand of vehicle." from the last paragraph

At 280K it is second to the GTO-R in price, and a bit more than the Porsches. It will be interesting to see who runs it. It has a Riley Chassis, so it could be very competitive...

Carl, I made the same comments on another board.

Buy the defacto class champion or spend more cash and buy something wholey unproven? Hmmmm.... Doubt Mazda/Speedsource/Downing are going to have these things jumping off the shelves this first year. HOWEVER, Speedsource doesn't lose, has campaigned Porsches so they have a real good idea of what they're up against, and, well...we can all wish them well.

If the ALMS P2 car ever comes up to speed Mazda and Porsche could be bumping heads on two fronts.

This is what the RX-8 should have been straight from the factory (ok well minus the tube frame and CF body heh).

The current 8 is lame.
