Wanted - Green and White Plastic Check Valve - Urgent
I know this should go in the for sale/wanted section. I already posted it there, but I thought that there may be more chance in the West section that somebody, (anybody!!) would know where/if I might be able to pick one up today or tomorrow. Moderators, please forgive the repeat in this section because of the urgency, as follows -
Urgent, need this weekend. Can pick up in Orange County or South LA CA area today or tomorrow. New, used but OK, or non-Mazda alternative. I'm into my rats nest and broke a check valve. Its the one between the inlet manifold and the Double Throttle Control solenoid, although I think it's pretty well the same as the other plastic check valves connecting to the inlet manifold. Trying to finish this weekend but none in stock at SOCAL Mazda dealers. Help please
Thanks
Dave

Green and white check valve

Great! Assuming I get the right physical fit, are they all the same - ie OK for this (RX7 gen3) application?
Thanks
Dave

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your help.
Please note, however, my question was quite appropriate. You ask "what else? How about reverse pressure tolerance? How about resistance to corrosion through exposure to whatever? How about temperature tolerance? How about physical overall size? How about response time? How about permissable leakage? I am very aware that "goes only one direction" is a key check valve parameter. However, by itself, this parameter is far from a defining statement as to the suitability and viability of any given valve in this particular, (very hot), automobile application. Indeed, if I remember correctly, Mazda uses at least 7 different valve part #s on the car. One wonders, therefore, asuming the "one way" parameter means all, why they just didn't use one part for all of the valves!
Having said that, I still really do appreciate you taking the time to try to help me.
Thanks again
