Hey Bay Area guys,

Anybody else have work or school they can't miss on Friday? Anyone thinking of going down later when it's not as hot?

Post your thoughts, maybe we can make an afternoon caravan. I know this means we won't get into LA until dark but at least you'll be rolling with other 7s.

 

Thats exactly what i'm doin. I'm gonna be leaving around 3:30-4ish. Anyone else leaving around then?

 

All I know is that I'm leaving late...dunno exactly how late, but I'm following Karack down from Yuba City (45 min North of Sac)

 

I am also thinking sometime in the afternoon.

 

I'll probably end up leaving around noon or 1PM.. any mini afternoon caravans forming?

The Bay Area people can meet the I-5 people @ Gilroy if they work it out.

For me, it'll take a little under 1 hour to Gilroy. I will probably leave around 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

For those of you leaving in the PM and can make it, a few of us are meeting at the 580/ I5 merger just south of Tracy. We'll be there between 2 and 3 PM. I hear there's a rest stop there ....

They will be little two-way radio's. I'll try to get as many as I can from my girlfriends step-dad (hes a big radio/train fanatic) so we can have some distributed and figure out a frequency there.

If you guys think you can hit that time window or somewhere close to it we should swap cell #s over PM.

What sort of speed are you all planning on? If 70 is cool, I am in., altrnately, I'll leave a little early, and you guys can Catch me since I am towing. I was going to drive, but changing tires three times on the way down seemed a bit much
