Hey everyone,

It has been quite a long time since I've posted on here, but I still drop by to read every now and then. I have long since sold my one and only RX-7 project, but I still have my yellow Saturn. I now live and work in Sudbury, and I've seen a few nice 2nd gen's around town, so I was curious if they ones I've seen are anyone here.

I think last week, a mint 10th AE let me pull out of my office parking lot, at the corner of Notre Dame and LaSalle, during heavy 4:30 PM traffic. Thank you and you've got a sweet 10th AE.

Yesterday or this morning, I also saw a very nice white 2nd gen GXL heading towards Notre Dame on the LaSalle extension.

WankelWannabe, are you still around?? Did you ever find yourself an RX-7?

Well, just wanted to post and stay friendly. If any Sudbury owners have little meets or gatherings and you wouldn't mind a bright yellow Saturn tagging along on the sidelines, please drop me a line, I'd love to check out your rides.

I'm from Sudbury originally. I'll be there 2 weeks from now(14-15) to put car in storage. I have a red TII (1987). I've heard of the white 10AE, supposed to be a very nice car. Did you ever notice the red TII downtown by the doghouse? I think it has V8 in it.

 

Hey I know this is an old thread but hey is there any more people from sudbury. I got my 7 in the summer, and I have a buddy with one also.

 

There's a red T2(or n/a with t2 hood) with a v8 in it that's been parked at the garage by joe dog's near the train station downtown.

I was up there a couple times this summer in my red T2, the roads are just god awful. I was gonna do some cruising around last time I was up but it was snowing so i parked the car.

Do you guys know a good shop in sudbury that can do exhaust welding? I need to have a 4" system fabbed up... I'll supply all the components just need a good welder/fabricator.

What kind of car do you drive? What does your buddy have?

 

My friend and I both have an 87 RX7 GX. Yeah I know of the V8 swapped 7, I have never checked it out. My friend knows the guy, he has a parts car that I want to get some parts from. As for the exhaust shop, well there isn't any I know enough about or recommend. The last exhaust I had done was with my 83 Trans Am. Its one of the shops you would drive by and not even bother stopping in. Yeah I hate the roads up here. Your swerving in the summer to avoid the pot holes and in the winter there filled with either snow or slush then you don't see them. Sudbury has some of the worst roads in ontario. It would be nice to see more 7's around town.

 

You live in chelmsford eh? Too bad, thats really far from where I live. I am near the General hospital. Maybe over the christmas break we should get together, do you guys winter drive your cars?

 

Yeah I live in Chelmsford. My other buddy with the RX-7 lives in one of the apartment buildings on notre dame, he has the primer black 7. Hey also has an AE86 that needs rebuilding he found from the junkyard. He will be starting a parts shop soon called JCI Performance. We both are going to be drivinbg our 7's in the winter. Its legal to have studded tires so Im going to pick up a set. Hopfully that will help keep the car down to the road.
