I went to the Mazda Drivers event there last weekend, and had a blast.

 

Which car were you Calvin? I was there also last week in a black 3rd gen with busted turbo couplers...

 

I was in a grayish GSLSE (first gen) with peeling clearcoat paint. I was instructor for an Elise and an RX8. It was a good weekend.

 

Dammit, the summit point calander was down. Is there anything else coming up there?

 

Plenty of events comming up. There is a NASA weekend Spet 24-25, and Seat Time event pn the 30th. There are some more events scheduled before the years is over, I don't know the details of any of them, but I hope to make at least one.

 

Was that mazda event the one that's going around the country letting you drive 8's, Mx-5's , mazda3's and 6's?

It is more of an autocross oriented event. A very good event, but something different than this event was.
