just installed power fc!! have map questions

just installed my power fc. it was used... i initailized it beofer starting the car... it runs great! opened up more power and runs much smoother... i'm running intake, DP,cat back...... i have a mid pipe and boost controller to install...... my question is, how to i set the car for "base mod"? are there already other maps on the pfc? i have the commander instructions but didn't see a simple step by step and didn't want to mess around with it.... thanks for any help!

Any PFC made in the last few years comes with what has been termed the "base mod" map. Don't just think you can install the midpipe and go blasting away at 14 psi on that thing...you'll not be happy with the results.

But would the base mod handle, say, a m2 intake, m2 medium IC, DP and hi-flow cat at 12psi? What does the base mod safely handle?

I'm off to do a search to see if I can find that already answered, but since this thread already got opened I figured I'd pose the question anyway.

The true base mod map timing is very safe for stock ports with many mods,
it's the fuel (AFRs) that have to be tuned with a wideband to prevent detonation.
