If you are having problems installing the bushings please email us at sales@mmr-direct.com. The trailing arm bushings should only be about a .004" press fit. If there is a problem with our parts we will do what it takes to fix it.

You did take the outer shells from the old bushings out didn't you? If there is a problem then I need to correct it for other people who might want the bushings.

i didnt see any metal shells .. the frame was welded to anything that would have resembled that. i pulled out little flimsy bushings but they were all in one piece looked like a standard common bushings nothing sophisticated. they were just too big.
let the record show to all the readers that the other bushings fit fine. didnt need a press just a block of wood and a hammer. i stood on the subframe bushings to put them in. everything else was a breeze.

Angry stupid trailing bushings

ok so once again im held up by these stupid trailing arm bushings they are too wide to fit in the crossmember. by about.12 of an inch. i measured the crossmember reciveing end is about 2.77 wide. the trailing link withs bushings are 2.90. the flange is .32 and the trailing width without bushings is about 2.46. translates into square peg into a circle hole. there is also an additional gap under the flanges.. these Bushings are too tall on the inside and to tall at the flange. i feel like i am the test car for the trailing bushings and didnt even know it. when do the math they should fit but they dont.
