You better make it by then. If you need a spare hand in the garage holding wrenches or something let me know.
He's right...we are kinda "assish". Why would anyone take offense to that???
But what does that make someone who disparages a whole group of people on a national chat board aftering only meeting a couple of the members? I didn't even know that we had members that far north...or that anyone between Duluth and Detroit Lakes owned an RX-7. I grew up north of Detroit Lakes, so I know what the terrain is like and the people who drive it. Four wheel drives with gun racks in the back window and coon dogs named Zeke in the passenger's seat ;-) But seriously folks...
Do you think an apology is possibily in order?

That's cool. C'mon down to the event if you can make it to the big city and talk 7's with some guys who know a thing or two. Every organization has a few bad apples that give the whole group a black eye. I bet even the College of Cardinals have a few nitwits.

Heh, I've met probably 30-40 MN 7 people, and so far noone has been a pain, that includes everyone in the NRR club, even Phil!
That said there's also many different types of personalities, so some might grate on some people.
Anyway, I second Brian's suggestion, come down to the cookout and give it another shot.

Rex invited me to the last picnic at Phalen and I showed up for a brief time.
I work till 6:00pm now and I usually go to Porky's Saturday if the weather is good like today.
Anyways I was banned from the club so I probably should not worry about it.
I'm looking to get Steve Kan up here to work on my brother's and my car. If anyone is interested in using his services let me knmow.

It's going to be a tight one. My header is being shipped monday, and the stuff should arrive before then.. Worst case I can run down with the worn out stock twins.
BTW : OFFTOPIC : Would anyone be interested in my old exhaust setup. I have an Apex GT cat-back, SS resonated MP, and a non-resonated MP collecting dust, Make a resonable offer.

Good to hear you are working again as well; happy for you.
My car will not be ready for this event as she's still undergoing cosmetic surgury and depending upon my new house woes, I will try to make it myself.
Hey Fellas,
I'm sure that most of you are aware of this, but Car Craft Summer Nationals will be going on at the fairgrounds in St. Paul that day. It an annual event that some of my buddies and I go to. I don't live in Minnesota, but would it be cool to stop by and maybe see some of the cars and stuff? I won't have my Mazda, but I still may be able to stop by if that's ok.

Do any of you guys have Rx8club.com access? I used to have a user account but it won't allow me in and I can't create a new one. I think I only posted twice at the most so I may have had it deleted due to inactivity or something.
If you can I'd appreciate it if someone could create a post in the midwest regional forum so we can get some 8 drivers to show up as well. We're all rotary nut-heads so we might as well all hang out together, right?

If this is an evening event then I'll at Porky's viewing all the hot cars that come through from the Car Craft Nationals car show. I'll be there all night.

I'll be flying to SC on 7-25-05 to pick this one up.
Maybe I'll see some of you at Porky's on Saturday nights.
I'll have it there when I get it.
