Hey Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself and show you pictures of my car. It's a 93 with 75K miles. I picked up the car last night for $2500.00 as the front rotor is shot and the engine needs rebuilding. I have done a lot of reading here and am sure with all the Gurus and Enthusiast on this site I will have a great time with this car. I plan on taking it to J&G Automotive or Rotary Power for a rebuild

Anyway, here are the pictures of the car.

Thanks. I was originally going to buy it for $8000.00 We took it to Tri-Point where they diagnosed the front rotor being bad and the leaking seal. I just couldn't afford them to fix it.

Thanks Guys.

It was a case of being in the right place at the right time!

It does have a clean title and to my knowledge is the original paint. The original owner had it in his garage for the past 5 years.

The only thing that was not working was the AC, it does not blow out cold air. Other than that the car is intact. I have a lot more pictures and tried to attach them but cant because of the size. I dont mind sharing if someone wants to host them for me.

Aw, I'll be sad if you're right about the automatic d0 Luck... nice car though... very VERY awesome deal for $2500... that's almost MY territory since I could do the rebuild myself... man that'd be awesome.

Then again the first time I needed to change anything else in the car I'd get raped.

My FD rocked my wallet like nothing else. I really miss Brenda. Anyhoo, DriftingB26RX7 doesn't ask me to go mountain driving even though I'm pretty close to pasadena.

Btw, I got an apex'i N1 on Donna now and boy is she getting loud. She's starting to sound a lot like Brenda. Anyone confused yet?

It's an automatic, but at $2500 I have no complaints.

It was listed in Craiglist for $13000 about 6 weeks ago when I contacted the seller. I was going to buy it for $8000.00 after he paid for it to get checked out at Tripoint as mentioned in the previous post.

The owner is a newlywed who was selling the car to buy a House and he and his are planning to have kids in the near future.

He said that I was really the only person that showed real interest in the car and had been communicating with him almost on a daily basis. So after finding out the motor was bad he was all for selling the car for a lot less. I went there last night and it turns out he works with my Uncle at UCLA and the rest is history.

It's got some nice upgrades and I can't be happier with my purchase. Plans are to have it rebuilt and enjoy the car a few times a week.

Any tips on where to take it to get it fixed correctly would be appreciated. I have read about J&G, Mazdatrix, Sidepex etc. and the consenus is that they are all great shops.

I can't wait for the next meet to meet some of you guys and check out your cars.
