Will these Rims fit?

Hello all.

I have a 1990 T2 Vert that has Cusco comp 2's fitted with about 1" drop.

I have been offered some wheels and have done some searching and not realy found what i'm looking for.

They are off a 300zx twin turbo. I have been told they are +40 offsets, pcd 114.3,17x8 & 17x9.5.

If these rims will go on what Tyres would you say fit the rims best?

I am not very clued up on offsets etc, if the number is say +10 will a +20 be further away from the Hub (basicly sticking out from the wheel arch)?

Thanks

chris

I think the wheels should fit.

The HIGHER the offset number, means the further it is away from the hub. Thus theres less of a "lip" on the wheels and the wheels are less wide. So i guess what you're saying is correct.
