i'm a newbie, need a bit of help w/ terminology plz

hello, i was wondering what the difference between an fc3 and an fc3s was..
and is there an fc? like just plain fc or no...
thanks for any help!

hhmm also, was there a chassis redesign of any sorts? cuz either my eyes are playing crazy tricks on me, or my rx7 looks way different from the turbo 2's (barring the hood scoop that is)

"FC3S" is the whole name.&nbsp This basically covers all 2nd generation RX-7's, from 1989-1991.&nbsp "FC" and "FC3" is just a shortened version of "FC3S".

He means 86-91

The difference you probably notice is betwen the 86-8 adn 89-91 body. The chassis is basically the same except for a bit of reinforcing in 89.The trim, front adn rear bumpers, mirrors, taillights, turnsignals, and wheels were revised in 89, and they look like a different car, though it is the same chassis. The stuff from a newer one bolts onto an older one, to make it look like a newer one.
