ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment-safe for rotary??

I just wondered if you guys would have a look at this web site for me , http://www.team-zx1.com/noflash.cfm , and see what you recon to the zx1 extra lube addative, ive used it in my lexus soarer twin turbo, and ist been very good, just dont know if its safe in the rotary, it says its safe for 2 strokes (so must combust ok), and it recomends putting it in the fuel every now ang again to help lubricate valves, and upper cylinders in piston engines, ect (would this help tips and chamber tho) , let me know what you recon, cheers, Chris

Don't waste your money. There's a reason that the majority of the "miracle" oil additives like Prolong, XR-1, Duralube, etc., have basically disappeared from the U.S. market: the FTC declared that their advertisements were misleading, and were banned from making these claims. Consumer Reports and Car&Driver both did exposes on the Prolong stuff.

what is the weather like there now? it is a consideration in oil selection. with a functiong oil metering pump 4-8oz is the common premix ratio to a full tank. (assuming us and jdm have same capacity) tcwIII premix should do. welcome and have fun. also search through the forum as you could spend weeks asking alot of questions that have been anwsered pretty well before.

its winter here now, not that much over freezing in the day, the cars not used very much, weekend cruising and the odd show ect, so it wont be a daily driver, and by premix, do you mean any 2 stroke oil that you mix to fuel (like a chainsaw ect would have), have a look at this link, seems to be the best one i can get here in the uk http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalo...&action=detail , does that like it would be suitable?

Yes, I've used Silkolene in both two-stroke and four-stroke motorcycle racing engines, and it's worked well.

There are some two-stroke oils that actually made for oil injector systems (somewhat similar to the FD's OMP) that are slightly higher viscosity, while others are strictly pre-mix.
