uh, more clutch questions?

bought a spec clutch. which way is the best way to mate the tranny to the clutch. I put the ring n the pressure plate and pushed on the clutch fork to click in. Here lies the problem. I m not sure if i distorted the ring. it's hard to put it in the pressure plate but once it is mated all it needs is a little pressure for it to pop out!! last time i let it be drove around and had no clutch. I was stranded. If i tried to put the ring on the throwout bearing and try to click it into the pressure plate as a unit, it just won't click in. this **** is getting old. i might order a new ring. the spec sucks... the throw out bearing rubs and gets stuck on the clutchfork assembley. i had to grind the **** out of it for it to slide on it. kvn
