turbo tranny serial number

I just picked up a tranny today for my buddy, i just want to check the serail numbers on it. on the bellhousing theres a tag with "H 0129". this should be coming out of a s4 turbo ii i belive.

Why are you wanting to check the serial number?

to make sure i have the right tranny. I want to see if its fro a s4 tii a s5 tii, or if its not right at all

im curious to see, my buddy bought it off of a guy that got it out of a junkyard. He doesnt know what it came out of. I said id do a search for him. I was just wondering if it was out of a s4 or a s5
