Cutting my lugnuts
For some reason my car came with extra long lugnuts in the front, about twice as long as stock.
Now I dont know why someone would make em longer in the front, I would think they would want to fit wider wheels in the back since its RWD.
Well I was wondering if I could cut the non threaded part with my dremel.
The lug would still be longer than stock and I dont think that the non threaded part does anything.
Now is that safe for me to do?
thanks

lug nuts or wheel studs?
just go to the junkyard and grab some lug nuts, I'm sure they won't even charge you, and you'll use like $30 in dremel blades to cut a one in half.

FC's run longer studs in the front.
The fronts are about 1" longer than the rears.
It's normal.
It's not recommended to cut them.
Why do you need to cut them for???
if it's a lug nut clearance problem, go out and but the straight-through type lug nuts.
We just got a set for $30 for all 4 wheels.
