What tires should i get on my 94 fd? daily driven, currently have 225/50zr16 gooyear f1-gsd3, thinking about simatona hdr plus..i dunno **** about tires

 

The Sumitomos will not be on the same level as the Goodyears, definitely. If you want better performance without regard for price or treadwear even, I suggest getting tires in the range of the Toyo Proxes T1-S, Bridgestone Potenza SO-3, Khumo MX, Michelin Pilot Sport (PS2 if you have a size available), or the BF Goodrich T/A KD for the best dry performance.

 

I do believe the T1S will wear the best, hence probably most suitable for daily driving. It also has great wet and dry traction.
