how to releive fuel pressure without cranking it?

how to releive fuel pressure without cranking it?

my car was involved in a front end wreck and i was worried about starting it up in case i somehow damaged the engine. anyway i taking her apart right now and need to know hot relieve fuel pressure without cranking her because parts were damaged and i cant start her? any idea or just pull the injectors out and have fuel spray everywhere. can that happen?

When I get in this situation (which isn't often), I just pull the injector out of the rail with a rag under & around it (if working in this area), or pull the inlet hose off at the rat's nest, with a rag around it...

Thats all I did too- rag around the hose, twist slowly on the hose and pull back. Should drain most of it out.
