Will the Sparco Evo 2 seat fit in an FC?

I've heard they are a bit wider than regular racing seats, so I was curious to see if they would still fit. Also, if anyone has them in their FC, how do you like it?

Not exactly what you're looking for but anyway...

I'm almost positve these are Evos, not Evo 2s, and are therefor not quite as wide. I can say they're an awesome seat though, and they look great in an FC.

Hmmm.......they do look good. How much room do you have between the shoulder supports and the door, and the waist area of the seat and the door? I've been told the Evo was 20 inches wide and the Evo 2 was 50 inches wide (which sounds pretty f'n wide). If it really is that wide, it doesn't sound like it will fit. I've sat in a Evo (or a regular sized Sparco seat) before and it was barely too small for me.

This may or may not help but my Sparco Sprints fit on the stock rails with little modification and abit more width to sacrifice...this can be used as a comparision If you've got numbers.

50 inches wide! That's almost the track of the car itself!!

You can get dimensions for the seats here:
www.sparcousa.com

It shows that the Evo 2 is 23.66 inches at the edges of the wings (at the shoulders). The Evo (as shown) is 23.62. I don't think you'll have any problems. The base of the Evo 2 is 20.91 inches wide while the Evo is 19.69". Best bet is probably to measure it for yourself. Then you'll know beyond doubt.

I should also point out that the above car is not mine. I've simply seen it at a couple track days.

I guess the guy was looking at the wrong thing when he was looking up the specs then. That should fit just fine. I'll measure just in case though. Yeah, I found out after I finished posting that it wasn't your car.
