Heim/Rod ends and aluminum hex tubing

I would like to make some adjustable toe and camber links for my FC and I am having a hard time finding metric heim/rod ends and aluminum hex tubing... Any suggestions?

Can you use standard sizes or will there be to much play between the bolt and rod end whole?

Most people use step bushings. One on each side of the rod end that will change it to a smaller metric size as well as fill the gap between the rod end width and the bracket width. www.aedmotorsports.com would be a good source for the ends and the tubing.

Most of the time they are custom made. There are to many variables for them to be 100% off the shelf.

I did a little drawing. You can take this to any machine shop and they can make them for you. You will need 2 of these per rod end. They fit inside the rod end on both sides and change the diameter as well as fill the bracket width.

Here is a quick image of what you need:

AWR makes everything you need, I have the camber links, and the Toe links, not cheap, but tried, and true. These are made for the FC, and proven on many EP cars. Here is the link http://www.awrracing.com/pages/rx/rxsusp.html
