Power FC What could hapen if a PFC dies?
Looking for a bit of advice.
I was driving along and the Idle just dropped and started to hunt. The boost gauge was not fluttering but the VAC reading dropped as the revs dropped.
I pulled over and stopped. Checked everything was okay then Cranked the engine and she started. ran for a minute then the idle went crazy again.
The exhaust started popping. When I looked at the PFC it had the apexi logo and wouldn't let me into any of the menus.
The car finally died and wont start.
It was dropping alot of petrol from the turbo/exhaust.
I Unflooded it and put the stock ECU in and tried cranking it.
It tries to catch but I think the plugs are wet again. There is no fuel dropping or at least not as much as there was.
Plugging in the PFC causes all sorts of electrical problems. Like the fans running and the Idle control solenoid clicks, and so does the wastegate solenoid.
I have been told that there is a chance that the PFC could of blown an injector driver.
Any suggestions would be a great help.
