Better off having them hosted at another remote server.

Join Webshots, WTDR, Ofoto, Shutterfly, or the myriad other free pic hosting services if you want to post pics. I don't know why the guys who run the forum allow users to post pics in the first place. Seems like a lot of headache, and not to mention overhead, for a forum that we don't pay to use.

Good looking out on the tech article though...

Posting text and linking photos from other places ain't the prob. It's actually loading up a pic into places like this or TestArea51...when work PC with a T1 connection can't load a 36kb picture, there is a problem...and it has been more like a month and a half since it started......85...load a brand new pic in this thread so we can see your success...

Thats what I am talking about. Maybe they got a virus and dont want to tell anyone and dont know how to get it off there server and dont want to do a reboot and format.

I have small Tech-photo's on building a Auto trans mount car to a 5speed Mount. That works and looks nice and will never brake.. But back in the day when you could show people How......are long gone I guess

Yes a T-1 is way overkill to load a 36kb Pic, Hmmm still no email back from them

Yes, we indeed have problems with image uploads as ya'll can tell. An upgrade of software should solve the problem but it's a matter of coordinating everyone involved with the process.

Once again, their are numerous free pic hosting services available. I say we cut the guys that pay for this great forum some slack. After all, it is not like we pay for the service they provide, and a forum this size can't be cheap to run...

I don't know about you, but I have sent $$$ Ryan's way to support this site...most recently just last year to help with the current server upgrade that they did in October 2003...
