Up gradeing RX2,3,4 brakes
Some time ago I posted the suspension up grade to my RX4, front and rear. I started out with a 86 RX7 4 lug for a doner car and in the past few months came up with a new doner RX7 with sport suspension, so the change over was just the hubs and brakes, yes I got the shocks, control module all the switches and sensors.
So with the big vented brakes and the rack and pinion streeing I now have a RX4 that stops and turns at my will, O, I for got to add the twin turbo/ twin K fuel injection.

So the 5 lug sport dual A-arms bolted to the Rx4 frame in the front? How much machinework needed?
I'm looking for a big brake upgrade for REPU and after researching it for weeks, it's all about compromises........time, money, lug pattern, ease of installation, pick two!

Damn, rack & pinion steering, full disc brakes, and no more 4x110, that sounds really nice. Did you swap in the entire independent rear suspension or just the struts? I don't even want to know how much time that must have taken. I guess it wouldn't be too hard for it to fit on a bigger car like the 4, not sure how it would be on the others, the FC's front and rear track is around 6-7 inches wider isn't it? I'd be more interested in just the R&P, brakes, and struts, I can live with the solid axle.
As said before, please post up the pics again.

Yes the complet indepenent rear suspension amd the TII wheels just fit in side the fender like a .5 in to spair and tis is on a 76 RX4.
No the lower A arms didn't make it they where to long and I would had to cut into the floor bords for room. So new A arms and a new front clip/lower/a arm frame was built.
If one can push a hack saw and weld (the real kind of welding) time is all you need and I do this out side under a car port.
Well just now got my USB chip up and its loaded with lots of pics ready for you all. At work I got cable and it fast then home, with some free time at work and if I can remember how to post pic they are come.
For a Repu I would be going to a much later Mazda pickup for brakes, just my thoughts.
