Buy my car

Because of the gas situation I can no longer afford the 20 mpg of my 1982 GSL. So, I am going to sell my car. If you have any ideas on how to sell the car faster, or if you want to buy it E-mail me at DriftFB@aol.com. The car has been very well maintained, and has all service records. Its silver with maroon leather interior, everyting works to. I'm trying to sell it for 2,500$ Please help me.

2500 for an 82? Good luck... and btw 20 mpg is probally pretty good... My 2003 corolla is suppose to get 38 mpg, but its close to 27 or so

My '82 GSL only gets 14-15 MPG around town. Count yourself lucky. With gas at right about $2/gal and still climbing, I think we're all screwed. But as thericerx7 said, it's a sacrifice, and it's one that most of us are willing to make for our cars.

Good luck in selling it though, if you decide that's what you really want to do.

If your complaining about 20MPG, you don't need to drive a car. You won't get anything that can perform like a 7 and get good gas mileage. You just won't. Most performance oriented cars like the 7 get around 15MPG. Anything else is SLOW and gets mabey a max of 25MPG. I depends on your driving style too though. Most people are a little bit agressive and therefore you are going to get unsatisfactory gas mileage no matter what car you get.

Maybe he's just on a budget and wants an econobox - and there are lots of them around that will get you better than 25MPG.
Good luck with your car - hope it goes to a good home
