im from west los angeles(close by santa monica n beverly hills)about 3 months ago i moved to the philippines for business reasons. i had to leave my baby behind in the states. i left it under good care of my friend.

i never thought id be missing my car this much. every lil mod on the car was done by me. my car was a 85 gsl-se with dellorto. it had full racing beat exhaust system. re did the entire interior(black carpets with nice lookin blk n grey carpet for the doors) i had blk leather t2 seats with a nardi steering wheel. sony head unit with kenwood speakers. replaced the clock with a autometer rich lean guage. i had 14" 2 piece old school dunlop rims wit nitto tires. i had to do several tranny swaps, new clutch, did engine swaps but i ended up puttin in the original motor...

i realy miss drivin down the pch(pacific coast highway) with the moon roof takin out, full tank of gas, fresh pack of cigs, big gulp from 7eleven, and listenin to the hum of my 13b.

i saw a super clean 1st gen here in the philippines. i wanted to ask the owner if he wants to sell it but he wasnt around...

How long are you going to be there, because it sounds like you left your car with your friend to beable to come back to it...

Or try to find one there to have while you are there. I know it won't be the same, but it might help ease the pain

lol... i dont know where u herd that from but its about a dollar a litre n the lowest octain was 95. diesel is evn cheaper. a bigmac meal supersized is a buck 50. xbox n ps2 games r a dollar(buned though) everything is so damn cheap here.

Oh i just got my car back. It's a friggen godsend. I haven't had my car for a week because it's been on jacks waiting for new bushings and a brake caliper. Finially drove it tonight and it feels fantastic. i really do love this car!

i feel ur pain man.....my car's been sitting for the longest time unrun and i sooo wanna drive it but it's too cold for me to put the new alternator in but hopefully this weekend we gonna have some good weather so i might get her started.....that is if she starts. hows the weather down there?
