There is a 12AT for sale, which I'm considering. It's in a car that some fellow was trying to restore, but I think he has run out of the desire or capital to do so. I don't know how much he wants for it, and I wanted to get some ideas before calling him to argue a price. I think a 84' gsl comes with it, because I think he just wants it off his hands. I'm pretty sure the car needs a world full of work. So what I'm getting at is this.

Engine Good condition=This much.

Engine Fair=This much.

And so on. I know if I go to see it I should spin it over by hand, check plugs, fluids and some other rudimentary checks. But what is a good indicator of mileage/wear. Besides compression checks and so on. Because I'm not sure all the tools I'll have available.
