It says to mix with gas, but it seems like I heard that you pour it down the carb just like you do water.

 

Both. It depends what you are wanting to do with it. If you are using it as a premix after you've blocked off the metering oil pump then it goes in the gas tank. If you think your engine has carbon lock then you wanna dump it down the carb, and squirt it into the plug holes. After you've done this let it sit for a while and then try and crank the engine over by hand. It really just depends on what you are wanting to use the MMO for! It is such a great product and has so many incredible uses!

If you put it down the carb you'll get alot of smoke, 'cause it coats the inside of the intake manifold and then atomizes and burns off when you run the car.

If you only put it in the plugholes, you'll get very little smoke if you purge properly.

Smoke's not a real problem.... unless you value your catalytic converters... Even then, the smoke you get form the intake alone wouldn't kill the cats, it would depend on how much got into the exhaust manifold, and how close to dying your cats are already.

If you've got headers, pour away!

Read the sticky if you think you've got carbon buildup.

And for Premixing, that's only if you suspect your OMP is failing, or you've blocked it off (if you need more info on OMP, just ask.. it's a bitch to search, but it's also available there too).

I dont have Carbon Lock, I just want to get some carbon out of the engine, I poured water down the carb a while back, got all kinds of junk out, was wondering if MMO will do the same thing but in a more effective way
