S4 n/a and S4 Turbo gauge cluster spedo question
My brain was wondering the depths of my turbo swap project and i came into something i coldnt answer on my own
So, will my S4 n/a gauge cluster read accuratly when hooked up to a S4 turbo tranny, s4 turbo rear end and the stock rear wheels?
or am i going to have to swap the gears from my n/a tranny into the turbo one?

Why wouldn't it? The trannies all have the same ratios and everything.
The only thing I would figure would be to see if your wheel size will be the same as a TII.
If the wheel size is off then the speedo will be off.

wait that didn't make sense about being the TII size.
It should be fine as is. I see no reason why it would be different.
I'm going with a TII tranny and keeping my GTU rearend. I see no way it would offset it unless you have like 13 inch rims or 20's

the gear ratio's inthe tranny shouldnt matter should they? I would assume the gear for the speedo output is just before the output shaft, not on the input shaft side of things
