Turbo Rebuild Price

I did a search and one of the old threads said around $150 for a to4 rebuild. I was just wondering if this was accurate. Also where do you get the kit from and what all does it replace?

They quoted me 112 for the rebuild kit, and about 450 for the whole cartridge.
I emailed them back asking if the rebuild kit included the carbon seal, since that is what people are telling me is gone on my smoking turbo... havn't gotten a response yet.

It's been said a billion times...you can rebuild the stock turbo with a kit meant for a T04 series.

I'm taking a wild guess that the kits they ordered were for a T04...just a guess.

Only if there's hardware that needs to be replaced, like wheels or housings...

That's when they start to get pricey...but that's because someone waits to rebuild until the turbo is trashed.

You guys said $150 for the rebuild but I'm guessing that's for the kit only.

Anyone know what it would cost for someone to do it?

Turbo rebuild

Hey I upgraded my S5 turbo to a BNR hybrid turbo for $500.00. This is supposed to get me into the 300- 325 range with my fuel and exhaust mods. Won't know until spring when I finish my updates.... Good luck..
