hey every one i am painting my car. want to paint it a blue color, but not a really dark one that looks black kinad. if some one can help with paint coades and some pics that woudl be great

Id suggest looking to nissan for your colours. Either Bayside blue from their GTR34 range, perhaps with a midnight purple pearl for the added darkness
Or straight out GTR33 midnight purple, looks black at night, and when light hits it, radiates purple...

One colour ill suggest u'll struglle to find, but ill tell ya neway... Over here we have a company called Holden, makes most of our cars in australia, they have a sports offshoot called HSV, you may be aware of pontiac GTO, the new one, thats a HSV monaro. www.hsv.com
anywho, they make a colour called cherry black, look into that one too, deep reddy purple in day, dark black to dark purple at night. very nice

wow they are all nice colors ,but i am look for some thign that doesn't look like its black. its to hard to keep really dark colors clean where i live. lookign for a brigth blue to med darknest this colro woudl be the best to finr but feast wont give the code up.

 

at sema there was an rx7 painted the 350z blue color and it looked very nice. i took a picture of it but its hard to see the color well.

well looked at the blue 350's and i think this is the winning color migth add a purple pearl in it to giv eit a lil diff shade

My car is getting painted Daytona Blue in March. Type in Daytona Blue and 350Z and Paint Code into Google and you'll find it. Color code is B17

Just go to a reputable body shop and look through the colors until you find what you like.

I painted mine Lamboghini blue because that was what appealed to me. I don't know the paint code however.

dont tell me that you have a factory cym and you are going to paint over it man. Thats wrong in every sense of the word. Its one of if not the rarest rx7 colors and if you paint over it you totally devalue that car and if you ever decided to sell it that cym paint would get probably at least 3-5k on top of any other color. But its your car but dont paint over the factory cym.

 

thats not factory CYM. The color might be but that car isn't a true CYM (hence the sunroof).

 

i belive in my 1st post in this thread there was a ps that said not real cym. and yes they never came with a sunroof.

may be. i can look that up not to sure. dotn see many guys up here with them so i woudl have to look into to it most of the cyms i see are on her and form the states.

well feast got back to me and the color is called candy blue and is the material of a "HAUSUOBU color company. so if you can get ahodl of them you get the color boys and girls.

I know it might be sacrelige, but the Electric Blue on the Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo is just an awesome color. Check it out.

You should check out TV2 Bayside blue, its from an r34 GTR. Its the color my car is, although my paintjob sucks I only paid $200 for it.

i think that is a stock supra color called royal sapphire pearl. very rare. dont have the paint code but with the name and car you should be able to find it.
