New boost gauge:15hg at idle and an 8-5-5

Got my gauged hooked up.
At idle it read at 15hg.
I got an 8-5-5 pattern.

man i have the same boost problem. for realz what is the prob. i actually get 18-20 for my vac though. i heard maybe the cats.. help

Used third gear...vac was at 20 at times. Can't remeber when though.

No Mods. 100,000 miles.
Had someone help remove the intercooler ducts and they looked fine.

Well at the milage with stock parts I would begin to expect pre-cat or main cat failures. If you run the car hard at night and then look at the turbos from the engine compartment and from the ground up you will see really really bright red turbos if in fact the cats are bad. This is an easy test to do before tearing apart the intake manifold and the rats nest underneath.
