Dood, seems like you know these BI State folks...why don't you post the prices of the stock rebuild and the upgraded ones? Seems like Bi State is now a competitor of BnR for rebuilds...I'm sure as soon as you post a dyno sheet of the upgraded turbos they will be selling like hot bread.

They're releasing the pricing on different options sometime today. Base rebuild is 700 with a good core.

We've set the price of $700 for the stock rebuild.

We're still working out the prices on the upgraded twins.

You can order a set of rebuilt turbos from jt-imports.com for like 500 I think. Also try spyfish007 I know he might have a few sets lying around so pm him and see what he might be able to do.

JT Imports sells used twin turbo sets for 550. They aren't rebuilt.

Looks like you guys put some kinda ceramic paint on the turbine housings? Looks very nice and clean.
Is that included in the $700?

The BNRs have put down some decent numbers. Mine haven't leaked any oil and I've run them at 15 psi sequentially for a while now. They probably put down around 20-25 more rwhp at 15 psi than the stockers. The 99 turbos are expensive but they are new and can handle more psi than the stockers. They might put down 5-10 more rwhp but haven't seen any proof. The BNRs are putting down anywhere from 370-410 rwhp in the 15 to 17 psi range. M2 turbos are very nice. Artguy put down 381 rwhp with those but they have no warranty.

I have heard very bad things from people who have used the Turbo City kits. Supposedly they start smoking within weeks and sometimes even days. You can probably dig up some old discussions if you search.

i think my second turbo workes fine bacause i only start getting boost after 4500rpm so should i just buy one turbo kit and rebuilt one turbo or should i buy both of them. is there a video that goes along with this? has anyone bought and installed a turbo rebuild kit from turbo city? is it hard and how long did it take? did your turbo's turn out ok?? also, if anyone has a used but good condition 3rd generation twin turbo's so i can swap them with mines and not have to worry about rebuilding, that would be great. please post up a price. also, if anyone has a act heavy duty street clutch sitting around, please post up a price, i am intrested.

thanks

Personally, I wouldn't rebuild my turbos myself...BUT if I were to do it I definately would rebuild both at the same time. You don't want to pull that sucker off the engine more than you need to...
