90 TII auto into 87 TII

I bought a 1990 TII long block to place into my 87 TII. I drove to Canada to get it, to find it was an automatic. (I never knew they existed.) I know that i need a series 5 flywheel so I am getting one Fedexed from Japan. I have removed the torque converter and ring gear, there is a large counter balance on the ecentric shaft. Do I need to remove the counter balance with a puller to mount the flywheel, or do I leave it on? This is the first s5 motor I have worked on and I'm just curious to find out what to do so I can be ready for when the flywheel arrives.

Automatics in TII's did not exist.

A picture would help with the flywheel question. I have done all this stuff very recently, but I am still not sure what parts you are talking about.

they had autos in japan. so the engine is a j-spec. some are shiped over with the auto stuff instead of a flywheel.
