I think it's called a "Rotor", and it divides the combustion chamber into 3 separate areas.

That's a vague question considering I have never even heard of a three way valve....

I'd say just about any part of the car could make it run like ****, so the second answer is yes.

Are you referring to the BAC valve?

I think it is part of the emission controls. It is located right below and behind the oil filler neck mounted below the intake manifold on the rotor housing. You are looking from the drives side as if you were going to add oil. It has two wiring harnesses on it, an orange and green one (may be different colors depending on years, 84 or 85). It looks like there are vacuum tubes leading into it the out with an electrical harness. Other then that I am not sure. I heard a rotary shop call it the three way valve so I assumed they knew what is was called. Running like **** means, hard to start, no power and wants to stall when you apply any amount of gas. Checked the fuel injectors and they are working properly. Fuel pump is new and has proper pressure, battery is good, although the charging system has been acting up, but I don't think it is that. Cats (all three) may be clogged although they do not glow red like on my other gen when its cats were clogged. Other then that I am not sure. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

I know what a rotor is guys, come on.
