Where can I buy a T-66BB?

I've done a search on this and can't find any info. I am trying to piece together a kit. I went to turbonetics website but it wasn't clear what the price was (at least with the ball bearing option). Those who have them, where did you buy them from? Thanks

You may want to do a search on some of the recent failures some members have had before making a decision. someone was looking to sell their ITS T66BB about a month ago. The dualBB units are great, but the single BB units have had mixed reviews with regard to reliability. I am going to buy a CTC67H from CTC motorsports in texas, it is not ball bearing, but spooled on my freinds Supra a little faster than his smaller ITS64BB. I'm not an expert but I've been annoying the list with my endless turbo questions for months now,so I do have a good feel for what works. If you want BB you may want to look at the ever present GT3540. The only thing is it has a T3 flange so if you already have a manifold you'll need to have an adapter fabricated. I just checked the Turbonetics site, 1960.50 , or 2240.00 with a Q trim wheel. Add for v band polish etc. This is not cheap considering a GT3540 is around 1300.00 and will give you better spol, and nearly the top end. So ITS or Garrett for dual BB, or CTC, or Precision turbo for the "67" Turbonetics otherwise. Regards, Carl

Thanks for the great info Carl. I'll stay clear of the single BB units. I've been living in the search section the past few days researching/looking for a turbo that will meet my needs. It's funny, not one bad remark against the T-66 duel BB. Many forum members stated that the t-66 is the perfect turbo for the fd. Anyway, so a duel bb t-66 will run me around 1940-2250?

Innovative turbo can tell you if you have a dealer nearby:

FWIW, I'm pleased with my ITS T66 dual BB.

No, a Turbonetics SingleBB will run you those prices. I think an ITS BB unit is around 2400.00, but maybe twkrx7 can enlighten us. I think Machinehead was considering selling his ITS T66BB, but that was awhile ago. He was looking for 1800.00 used. The cost of these turbos is what sends me towards the "67" or the 3540. Good luck, Carl

Try rpm performance...not sure of the url...he quoted me 1400 and change, that included shipping from Austrialia

twokrx7, please enlighten us. how do you like it? Is it more of a drag turbo or autox? If you don't mind telling us, where did you get your T-66 from?Innovative?

1mm larger than a T66(that would be the smartass hiding in my keyboard). It is a turbo precision turbo makes using a 67mm garrett GTQ-RS wheel. See CTC motorsports(or "one lap supra") for additional info. Basicly it's a little larger than a T66, and spools faster with a better surge line. Carl
