Unhappy Ummm....

You do realize that $7300 is MORE than the car sold for twenty-four years ago, don't you? I guess you would, because you're the original owner. At any rate, however much we here value our cars, they are not worth anywhere near that amount. Sorry buddy, but if that's the price you want for it, you should keep it. It obviously means alot to you.

Maybe if you want a few more years you can get that 25 year classic car status. Then...welll....
Sounds like a well kept car. Not too many original owners from 79.

With really low miles and in mint condition it might be worth $3700...typo perhaps? How many miles on it? Do you mean "off road" as in it's been in your garage started and exercised every month for ten years, or "off road" as in it's been stuffed in someone's barn untouched for ten years? Does it run?

Yeah, more info is needed if you were to ask a price that high. For that price, for me to pay at least, would have to have less then 1000 orginal miles on it, kept in a painted room at 50-70F the whole time, and started once every other week and warmed up, changed all fluids once in a while: brake fluids, gear lube, oil and antifreeze occationally and never been driven in the rain or out long enough to even need to be washed a first time. This is only way how I would justify a $7000+ for a SA 1st gen in orginal condition. Don't take offience, this is just how I feel.
