Does anyone know if i can fit an 16" x 7.0 on stock suspension 84 SE without too much rub?

yes you can.. in fact someone on the board is allready running those exact wheels on theirs. Search in the 1st gen section and you will find the info you're looking for.

Just stick with teh stock dia 205-45/16 on a wheel with 38 or 40mm offset and you'll be golden..
