1st off the reason i got these is because they are autometer and they dont have full sweep electric for whatever god awful reason...
anyway. car these are going in is my 93. there is no way in helllll these lines are going to reach! im using the center speaker pod from tri-power.
its my understanding they are availabe in 6 and 12 feet lengths, i of course got 6.
bought them new of ebay, and they are opened so not getting returned. length wasnt specified but wouldnt u assume it would be more? what freakin car is 6ft gonna reach from the inside way out the the t-stat area?? even the oil t, only way it can possible reach is to be ghetto routed, like across the dash to the door! haha no way! water t not even happening...
ive read everything i can find but most of us seem to use electric so this isnt an issue.
ideas?
i mean i really cant afford to go out and buy new gauges, i wont settle for that 1/2 sweep bs, i dont know how much i could get for these because they are out of the box now...
all i could think of is to route them directly through the firewall...i have no idea how to even get the dash off! searched...broke one of my vents messing with it already. dont know how else i can get it to reach there.
also i contacted autometer and asked if they sell a longer replacement line i can switch out, they told me to go buy electric! fuck them and their bs. if i get new gauges its bite the bullet and get defi or greddy. which means i have to replace the boost i have already to match...do they even come 52mm?? shit....
it sucks i already had to go to the trouble to get these huge ass mechanical probes a place to hook up...
anyway thanks guys

Using a mechanical water temp gauge makes absolutely no sense to me. No way to get an accurate reading by the time the fluid gets to the guage. Bite the bullet and buy an electric one, Jegs has tham for less than 50.
i did...like i said i cant stand that autometer 1/2 sweep bs, so i just ordered a greddy water temp. have to get the rest of the gauges when i get paid!
yeah i wonder how many times im gonna do this shit before i finally practice what i preach, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
i new i should have just bought nicer stuff to begin with...ahhh
mechanical gauge are quick and safe! ( no way to fail)
all my presure and temp gauge are mechanical ( just the fk'n fuel presure gauge is for legal reason electronic) and i have a 6 feetd long probe monted in mi car from the wather pump housing to dash i supose that the 12 feets model is for middle and rear engine cars...??
