who the heck is this guy .... i think we should all do a meet around his house and show him this "unreliable, underpowered engine" that he so calls, i wounder what he has to say about the 350z ... i watched the top gear edition of rx-8 vs 350z and the rx-8 came in .2 seconds behind it if i remember correctly, not to mention the rx-8 comes with 2 more seats, has a better build quality, and i personally think it looks better inside and outside.

Although the rotary has gained some bad rep points over the 60's and 70's you would think he'd notice that we're on the top of the game now with the newer cars. And the only reason the 8 has less power than advertised is because they added some last minute emissions equipment that stamped out the power :/... its a lot more powerful in Japan..

LOL, people like that you can't really get mad over cause they don't even know how these engines work let alone what parts they consist of. I can guarantee that this guy looked back and forth like 50 times to take the crap that he read and rearrange it a shitload. We all know what they are so we have the upperhand, this gay kid talking shit to my sleeper turbo vert at a light with his sxt neon go his ass handed to him, made me feel alot better

Hey just post your definition of the rx7... I just searched for supra for the hell of it and there were like 10 different defs. Its open to change or redefine properly!

Toxic_d

At some point in the next day or so I may just put up a def.

damn it only lets me give a thumbs down once.

yeah ok the rotary is underpowered. it was the first that was able to produce 100 hp/liter a good 10 years before honda was able to make that claim. and a car is only as reliable as its owner.

So who's going to write a better definition of RX-7 for that site? I started, but lost focus and quit. One should really start with Dr. Wankel to explain how the engine came to be, reference NSU and the other companies that worked on rotary development, tell about rotary RC airplane engines, motorcycle engines, snowmobile engines, etc and finally show how Mazda has been involved in and carried on the use and development of this engine.

Take it easy guys..all that matters is the truth. I don't mind the rotary-enabled crowd being small..it makes the club more exclusive. As a friend of mine in tech school always told me...let those f**kers live their lives in ignorance!

where my blood presure medicine......... I hate people like that they seem like they dont have a life. The underpowered and unreliable part really pissed me off. Underpowered I have seen turbo charger 26B ( yes the ultimate 4 rotor) producing 1800bhp if that is underpowered then I would like to know what this guy drives . unreliable, my wife had a 79 that she loved to death she had it for quite a while and sold it with 486.000 miles on it and yes it was the original engine not even a rebuilt the only thing she done to it was change oil and put gas in it.

But thats just my 0.02 cents
If somebody dont like that we can resolve the problem just me you and my .50 cal magnum

Yea, I know, but as I've aged (and believe me, I've aged!) I've learned that it really doesn't matter what other people think. As long as you like what you're doing and believe in it, that's what matters!

I thought it was funny. there is some truth although not all of it is current. I like the mystery behind the rotary. you know unlimited rev's, designed by ailens.

Oh, fuck... I used to be disgusted, now I'm just amused.

New definitions on that site take a week or two to get cleared and posted, but look for the definition of "rotard" that was posted by some guy calling himself Felix the engineer. I'll give you two guesses as to who that person is, but you'll only need one.

Blood pressure medication coming right up:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RX-7

That site is yet another example of how nothing good comes of anything labeled urban.

-dave

Edit: I really like that definition. FAQ-worthy?

the urban dictionary definition didn't mention that the oil filter location is more convenient than anyother car. And that if you remove the heater/header box, the oil can be changed without getting under the car.

I doubt that whatever faggot that wrote that definition changes his own (car's) oil.
