anyways here is the info:

LINK TO THE THREAD

Official info:
Saturday, January 21st 2006. 12PM
Paradise Beach Park in Melbourne, Florida.
Now...directions.

From Daytona Beach/New Smyrna/St. Augustine/Jacksonville/etc.
1. Take I-95 South to Melbourne.
2. Leave the highway at the 1st Melbourne exit (Eau Gallie Blvd/CR518, Exit 183). Go east.
3. Travel east all the way through Melbourne and over the 2 bridges until the road ends (at the Atlantic Ocean).
4. Turn right (south) onto Highway A1A. Drive about 2 miles.
5. Paradise Beach Park will be on the left hand side of the road...on the beach. It's an open lot, so you shouldn't have trouble finding me.

*You can take Highway 1 the entire way, but it'll take forever. You CAN NOT take A1A the entire route.

From Tampa/Bay area/Sarasota/Bradenton/Orlando.
(Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa Only)
1. Take I-75 or I-275 to I-4.
2. Take I-4 East towards the Atlantic.
3. Exit at SR528 (aka the Beeline), continue East.
(Everyone)
4. Take SR528 East to I-95. Go South on I-95.
5. Take I-95 South to Melbourne.
6. Leave the highway at the 1st Melbourne exit (Eau Gallie Blvd/CR518, Exit 183). Go east.
7. Travel east all the way through Melbourne and over the 2 bridges until the road ends (at the Atlantic Ocean).
8. Turn right (south) onto Highway A1A. Drive about 2 miles.
9. Paradise Beach Park will be on the left hand side of the road...on the beach. It's an open lot, so you shouldn't have trouble finding me.

From Gainesville/Ocala/Talahassee
(0.5. Talahassee and panhandle residents take I-10 east to I-75)
1. Take I-75 South to the Florida Turnpike.
2. Take the Turnpike south to SR 528 (aka the Beeline).
3. Get on SR 528 Eastbound.

*Alternatively, if you can't afford tolls, you could take I-75 to I-4 and follow the route from Tampa, but you'll add about an hour to your voyage.

From Melbourne.
1. If you can't find Eau Gallie Blvd, something is seriously wrong here.
2. Find Eau Gallie Blvd.

Maps and more:
The Park's address is:
2501 Highway A1A N
Indialantic, FL 32903

Map of Park and surrounding area.
Map from Tampa to the Park.
Map from Miami to the Park. (disregard the directions they give you. It's easier to get lost and you'll be more likely to get stuck in traffic).
Map from Gainesville to the Park. (again...using these directions are up to you).
Map from Jacksonville to the Park.

Hope this answers the question of directions. If anyone needs any further info, just PM me or give me a call. 321.243.2977.

As for what we do afterwards. It's still up in the air. I want to hear what everyone would like to do, then go from there.

I was told it was around 2 1/2 from broward. we are having around 6-7 cars going from down here so we are meeting up by Boyton beach at around 9:00am and then leaving from there.

let me know if anyone wants to met up with us, so I can post the directions to that place.

Rob, I added you to the list on msprotege.com. Over 40 cars so far and that does not enclude RX-8.com or Brevard Motorsports. Should be a great meet.

Cool. for anyone that's coming from south, we are meeting up in the Circuit City parking lot at the northwest corner of I-95 and Okeechobee in West Palm Beach at 8:00am. Everyone is welcome to join in our caravan, but must be there at that time as well.
