I know it's not a good idea to go any larger than 19 due to rubbing issues. I thought that 18's are a good choice.

you should gain perfomance i would think, less weight to move. i would be more worried about road hazards and rubbing. a freind of mine bent front and rear rim when he hit a large pot hole.

Can't confim it , but I was told that anything higher than 18 inches and you start to lose performance and that 17 inches is the way to go.

There are very few tires available that work on an FD in 19".

I do NOT believe those 19" wheels only weigh 14 lbs. I call BULLSHIT.

I have to agree, what brand, model and width are they... they would have to be very very expensive wheels as most 19's are for looks as opposed to performance.

also most people are selling there 19's because they are tired of bending rims or the ride is just too harsh with such a low profile tire. I would seriously consider not going any bigger then 18's, but it's your choice.

-best of luck

Enkei Aegis? Those are NOT super light wheels! You are misreading the picture.

"Enkei Aegis Cast 19x8.5 24.8
Enkei Aegis Cast 19x9.5 24.9"

I've also heard tales of them bending somewhat easily in an 18" application on an FD....19" would be much worse.

That looks like 690kg, which would be the load rating of the wheel, not the weight. Wheels do not have the weights stamped into them.

For everyones information

These are my wheels https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=561432 ...These wheels weigh 6.9kg....Which equal out to be 15.211671 pounds....Thats with NO TIRE!!!

These wheels are NOT bent...I have several pictures of them on my car..They have been on my car for roughly 2 months...I have never had a problem with them...The only reason I am selling these rims is because I found another set that I have fallin in love with

If you have any questions about these wheels, feel free to PM me and I will gladly give you my contact numbers and information....ANYONE is more than welcome to come to me casa and look at them in person...And ANYONE is more than welcome to bring there own scale and weigh these wheels in person...

If anyone else has any questions please let me know

Thanks,
Shawn

The rears 19X9.5 weighed 22.3lbs

The fronts 19X8.5 weighed 20.1lbs

This was on a health-o-meter digital scale...I stand corrected...Sorry guys

Thanks,
Shawn

Misinterpreting isn't a crime. I do it all the time :P

I like the rims, although I'm not sure of how much I like them on an FD. Good luck selling though.
