I'm FD biased too like grimple, so that explains the majority of the pics being those from 3rd gens. My batteries on the good camera died after two fresh sets of the damn things, I must have a bad set. BTW, they were IKEA brand AA's. Note to self: it's ok to buy furniture at IKEA, but not electronics
It was very nice meeting everyone, it was great to have all the folks from out of town here for the event, I know some of you worked very hard to get your car together to be there
Hey thanks Rob. I was so pissed my good camera died. I would have taken more pics of the old school cars, I didn't spend any time over there You car is looking super clean as always, congrats on the courtyard spot!

yea the cortyard was questionable, there were a bunch of cars that were over there that were nothing special, they didn't even pop the hoods on most of them, I think if you are in the courtyard open the hood, anyone can spend a couple hundred on paint and rims to make the car 'look' like its nice...
i dunno about that car as a prime example, there were many much better looking cars, I do like that kevlar though, that is nice

Hey Elliot, I was hoping you would have come out this year. Good to hear from you.

Yeah, I liked it too, he actually ended up parking right behind me early in the morning. He and his buddy (I think names were Ravi and Josh) came all the way from Arizona. They rebuilt the motor and repainted the whole car (I think Ravi said paint was 48 hours old!) before they came out. From what they were telling me, it was their first FD, they had hardly any experience with the car prior to the quick build. Very cool indeed, those guys busted *** to get the car done and out there, much respect to them. The color was Laguna Seca Blue from E46 BMW M3 BTW

I almost made it to 7stock this year... almost
There were some very nice cars in the courtyard (my fav was the CYM single turbo FD) and a few I thought could have been up there which were parked with the regulars... maybe the other guys just didn't care That pic you posted of the kevlar skirted FD... that car was SICK.

dude I was so gonna go! Actually I picked up my car from Steve's at 11:30 pm friday he had it all decked out for me and everything. At around midnight on my way home I blew a rear coolant hose and I got stranded in Norco... Towed it back to Steve's place, left my car up there and didn't get back home till 4 am... Woke up at 10 am too tired, uninspired and lazy to go up to 7stock.
