If so, I've tried to adjust both, but they don't take the idle anywhere near where it needs to be.

Also, when the PowerFC is going through the learning phase the idle will drop down to where it should be, around 1K. While the ECU learns to idle it bounces from 1K to 1.5K. Once the learning phase is over the idle sticks at 2K.
It should be the air adjust screw, not 100% sure. Its right behind a small black sensor behind the passenger side strut tower. Is it running a rich or lean or in between ? My FC was running a little lean so i adjusted the screw and i idle went up and stayed steady. I wish I had a picture I could show you.

Question. Im coming home form deployment in a few weeks and its been about 9 months since I've seen my FC. My buddies wife has been " starting it up " every now and then in the meantime. Last I heard from him nothing has happened, but I cant gurantee she's been living up to her word. Just to be on the safe side, what are some things I should be on the lookout for ? So far I know lines, leaks, wheels, brakes, undercarriage, starting issues. Any help would be great.

The guy I sold my shell to has one I left two fenders in the car when he bought it. The paint on them sucked but they were in good shape. I can get you his number Monday if you want.

Sounds like it must have sat for quite a while. The N/A engines are pretty resilient. It will probably be fine after a couple of oil changes. **** my 86 just sits most of the time but fires right up when I need her to, and shes got about 260,000 miles on the original motor.

Looking Good Myles....

For the FD with the Idle issue, I'm pretty curtain that you have a vacuum leak. Be careful replacing the old lines because all the solenoids will be brittle and will break easily. The best thing to use is a heat gun on the old vacuum line to loosen them up.
