That show is completely staged and bogus. I had a coworker that watched the show and went on and on about the "Top 10" and the so-called drama in the show. The cars are touted as being street legal, which is a stretch at best. They only run 1/8th mile for safety, but that means that any BB Chevy with NOx will have a distinct advantage over most engine (especially rotary). The NHRA has already come out and said that anyone who participates on the show will have their NHRA licenses pulled and possibly banned from any event by the NHRA.
I particularly am not a fan of the show, but I would advise anyone from trying to get on the show. I don't think it's worth it at all. It's just a reality show. If those guys came to a real track to race, sure I'd want to see that, but on the streets is a recipe for disaster. The main guy on the show already totaled one of his cars and was fortunate to survive. The car was fully caged, but that risk on the street is not worth it.

They already took on some rotary cars in one episode. The rotaries lost big time. I know in the races that made the show rotaries were not represented very well.
I know a rotary datsun raced one of them and won. It didn't make the show.

That's delirium motorsports Datsun, and no, he did not beat Murder Nova. The car that got to closest to winning was "bola de Humo 1st gen RX-7" vs the El Camino (whatever they call that car)
Delirium's Datsun ran 205mph during the MIR import vs domestic event in November.

You guys can hate all you want on those streetoutlaw cars but they are badass and if you actually follow these guys they all track race and you can see the times they run. The show is staged but hey the racing is racing and I like watching the races don't really care for the drama.

Don't really like the show, but cant stop watching the races Honestly, I am not too thrilled that they are getting lots of attention from Haltech. I literally want to bang my head every time I get an email from haltech (or go to their website) and they have something about the street outlaw guys, guess that's marketing for you!
