I am just glad to see my name on the list! I doubt i will ever make the #1 spot but i think i am good for #2 soon

My car should be moved to the 3/4 chassis as well.

yeah I thought it was 9.6 with the stock tranny. 9.27 was his best and I doubt that was with the stock tranny since he uses a gforce.

You guys gotta stop all the hate! Ari was the originator with the FD. It was people like him, Adam, and Abel that blew the import scene up. Ari DID run a stock mazda box to a 9.27. His best on the G-force was a 9.1. Why is that so hard to believe? If I sprayed and got a clean pass who know what I could have ran, lol. I could get 4 passes out of a stock box before it broke the main shaft. Ari told me the same for him.

Check out the new banner that "someone" sent me. I think Abel is the bomb-diggidy and Ari is mad cool so I had to add it lol. I love both their cars, who can guess who made the banner for them???????????????????????

As for who made it that's quite easy. That would be Jay's #2 fan!
His #1 is on top of the banner so we know it can't be him!
I'll bet it starts with A and ends in N!

Abel & Ari were choosen because they are members of the Rx7club, plus they are 1st on the list in their respective categories.
I used the catch phrase below to give other members some fuel so they can try to be on the list. We don't want a top 50 list because everyone will get bored & lazy once they see their name on there.. This Top 20 list would put guys in the "bump spot" so you'll have to fight hard to better your times, so you can stay on the list
ps. Flaco depleted Mazda's entire stock of 20b parts trying to set a record, so I thought it was fitting to use his pic because he's a perfect example of "break it to make it"

as far as i know carl went the fastest on a stock fd (not stock tho) tranny
followed by ari then steve

there was that black fd from back east , steve, carl and ari(of wich ari helped all the guys i listed)
they all used stock trannys and all ran in the low 10 second range.. this is back in 2000 and I WAS THERE

this is a simple example of how the nhra/nopi/idrc/boti directors had so many obstacles to overcome when making the rules for the classes, and the classes. your just trying to do rotarys, now throw in supras, bugs, subys, evos, old school motor swaps, and hondas then try to make everybody happy.. IMPOSSIBLE!

I've been faster than Steve. And yes, Ari spend $4k to go .01 faster but the key is being reliable without breaking tranny's. Thats why he did it. Same reason I did it.

i never said you didnt go faster than steve, in fact you did it with turbo only where steve and ari were spraying. i was simply comparing the fd street class racers and what trannys they ran in 2000,when import racing was still good on the west coast. i was at every event and it was fun!
now bact to ari, he spent way more than 4k for his tranny setup and his car was still not consistant. he had other problems besides tranny issues like axles, and other part failures. all part of racing
