Rear Lateral Link loose.

Rear Lateral Link loose.
1989 Mazda Turbo II.
I noticed when I pull up on the rotor in the rear right assemble I noticed the lateral link ball joint on the rear subframe wiggled very easy. I'd say the whole rear end sways a few mills. It appears this may have been this way for a very long time. The previous owner may not have tightened the bolt. I tried to tighten the bolt but the thread just spins and I cannot figure out how to tighten this nut Let alone remove it. I have my Time attack in about a week and have no idea how to fix it. On my other Turbo II I replaced this links and they are not cheap.
How bad is this?

You can also check out the links my buddy makes for me. They bolt right in without drilling anything on your car.
