Oil leaking from spark plugs - 3rd gen
Hi Guys,
I have a 1993 touring FD and I recently had a small oil leak traced by dye. It looks like I have oil coming out of a couple spark plugs and a bit around the oil filter.
The mechanic wasn't very familiar with rotaries so could only spot the sources.
I have a little of 70K miles on the stock engine. Does this sound like the beginning of the end for my baby's rotary?
The nearest rotary specialist is far away so I thought I would seek some more info here first.
Thanks!
Gary

If it is the rear rotor plug area then it is most likely the oil Pedestal O rings that seat the pedestal to the engine.
There are 2 O-rings in between that part.
