NJ Msd coils

I have a 88 rx7 convertible and i install a 4 msd 8207 coils but it not working i believe that i need the signal from the ignition distributor but i don know how i can get that signal its straight from the distributor or from the old coils wiring or if some one knows how to install it it will be great thx

I hope you realize that the stock coils comfortably support an engine that makes 450hp.They are some of the beefiest coils ever put on a car for stock parts.
I will toss out that you may need the ignitor setup in order to do what you are doing.(BUT I am not 100% on this..so IF I am wrong someone will chime in).
