diagnosis help please

Hello last night as i was driving not he highway something must have blown underneath my hood because i seen a small fire and what looked to be motor oil leaking. it eventually stopped. However the car won't start now and i had been noticing this "burnt smell"for a couple days now but didn't think it was anything serious. its a 1998 infiniti i30 with 140,000 miles on it? i was told it could be blown radiator but if motor oil was leaking what could that be?

You saw a small fire and motor oil leaking and you assume that the car is ok?
Should have..could have ..would have..
Take it to a mechanic as you,no offense, seem to lack the sense to stop the car and inspect it when this happened.
Now it is too late and you are posting for help..Sorry..

And Yes..this is the RX7 Forum so you may want to try another site that is geared to your car's make and model.
Regardless,I wish you well and Good luck to you.
