any one here fits a rear facing carseat in back seats of an FC?
i have a 7 mo. old and 3yr old.
my current car is a 98 ws6 both my 3 yr old and baby fit fine in the back seat. my seat is upright about 2" due to babys car seat when wife is in passenger(passenger has less leg room due to "hump" on frame so i lug the baby on my side. otherwise my 3 yrd old car seat doesnt affect my seating.
I also used to own a 91 talon(eclipse) that fit the rear facing seats. when i say fit i mean passenger seat on full forward but back still lock in most upright possition. really tight but it fit.
anyways
Im considering selling the ws6 and buying a FC. and was wondering if anyone here has tried to fit one. before i start looking only to not have one fit.
side note: this is not their main way of transportation. wife drives the family suv so we use that all the time. however there has been times where i had to utilize my car so i need to be able to still do that. this year i did so about 5 times. i use my car mainly to commute to work but just incase.

You can switch out the bins like iduley stated but first you will have to source the rear seats and seat belts along with the hardware . I don't think you will be able to fit a rear facing seat in there thou at least not safely. I don't see how the base will sit in the seat flush. The seats are very similar to the mk3 supra.

the 2+2 was the version that had rear seats.
They sat in place of the bins.
The seats are very uncomfortable for an average adult and most likely built with the (NO offense) smaller Japanese framed person in mind..lol!
Perfect for kids..or an anorexic fashion model.
The Base of the seat sinks into what I will call the Bin holes, and that is where you would plant your keester. The back of the seat assembly can be tilted down to almost flat for extra "rear hatch storage space".
You would absolutely have no room to make a seat face backwards. There is just no room.

finding the rear seats im not too worried about. ive seen them go on sale about 1+ (set) a month and that only me looking around randomly not at all looking for one like a mad man lol
then theres ebay. theres one there now.
the base does not have to used with the rear facing seats. in fact the base stays in our suv so when family members pick them up they can just simply put on the seat belt on the "hook" placement on the carseat.
heres the space capacity of my current car with the front seat in comfy mode/extended back. incase anyone isnt familiar with fbody rear seat.
bad angle but this pic shows a similar angle. only difference i see is that the fbody has a slanted back seat. which may or may not matter as the car seat actually hits below that horizontal stitch line on the back rest.
with seat fully extended forward anyone know the distance from front seat back to reat seat back?
