My car is an 'R' model, so I never had the BOSE system. And I'm old and not a huge car audio guy. But what I understand is that all the BOSE speakers are individually amp'd. Not sure how much that helps, but it'll be a thread bump and maybe someone else can chime in.

Do you mean an amp for the two rear speakers in the parcel tray or do you mean an amp for the Bose 'Acoustic Sound Wave' until in the boot? I believe there is a seperate amp for both of these but getting to it is a bit of a pain. I have an issue in mine at the moment where only the front speakers are working

"amp for the Bose 'Acoustic Sound Wave' until in the boot"
My front speaker with amp stopped working and I looked forever trying to find a replacement. I had a audio guy tell me he could fix the issue pulling all the door speakers and acoustic sound wave for a mere $1,600.
Through this site I found the # to the Bose audio factory 1-800-231-2673 and they have in stock Speakers and amps for the 93 rx I purchased a new speaker ($50) and amp ($60) for the front left door and two amps ($60 each) for the acoustic sound wave. This expense will keep the car stock just the way I want to keep her.

I ordered it last week out of California. All parts in stock and shipped to me to Canada no problem.
